About

High School of World Cultures is designed to support new arrival and MLL students to develop the 21st century skills required for their success as global citizens. Our English as a New Language program, BUILD Entrepreneurship program , and CTE Culinary Arts program enrich our students' academic experience and prepare them for their post-secondary career choices. Our teachers build on students' rich identities and cultural background to assist them in their transition and adjustment to their new academic environment. In the past years, many of our students have graduated with Biliteracy endorsements and received numerous scholarships through the CTE Culinary Arts program. Our school is located in the James Monroe Campus well known for hosting some of the strongest PSAL sport teams in the city. We, at High School of World Cultures, welcome students of any cultural background to join our school community and be part of our legacy as agents of social changes.
