Jamaica Gateway to the Sciences focuses on students interested in the pursuit of science and health-related careers. The school is affiliated with the Gateway Institute for Pre-College Education at City College. Our mission is to encourage the consistently high achievement of, and provide advanced academic preparation for, high school students financially disadvantaged and historically underrepresented in higher education institutions. Students will graduate academically, socially, and emotionally prepared for rigorous college coursework and the pursuit of health- and science-related careers.
