About

The Women's Academy of Excellence is an all-girls public high school, serving grades 9-12. Our mission is to create a community of lifelong learners, to nurture the intellectual curiosity and creativity of the scholars, and to empower them as young women. The school community seeks to cultivate a dynamic, participatory learning environment that enables scholars to achieve academic success on many levels, specifically in the fields of math, science, and civic responsibility. The scholars are exposed to a challenging curriculum that supports them in becoming college and career ready. The young ladies are encouraged to become leaders within their communities and to use their voices for positive change. Our motto: GIRLS MATTER!
