About
The Frederick Douglass Academy is a screened college preparatory school located in north Harlem. We are tremendously successful at sending students to top colleges throughout the country. High expectations and a challenging, rigorous curriculum are at the core of our mission; to equip students with the necessary tools and skills to become standouts in college and beyond. In our competitive school environment, each student is given an opportunity to select and attend one of our two academies within our school based on their individual interests.
