Northwell School of Health Sciences (NSHS) is a new high school that will lead the nation as a best-in-class example of how education can be designed to prepare students for well-paying careers in healthcare, addressing local needs in this industry while putting students on a path to long-term economic security. NSHS leverages a $25M grant (the largest in NYCPS history) and a deep partnership with Northwell Health to support students every step of the way, as mentors, offering on-the-job paid experiences, and with tuition reimbursement upon graduation.
