At the High School of Applied Communication, our mission is to empower every student to achieve more through the values of hard work, persistence and determination. Our school provides a small caring and supportive environment for students to develop marketable communication skills for the 21st century, which includes courses in Microsoft Office, Website Dev, Journalism, and Public Speaking . We also offer a rigorous college preparatory curriculum focusing on literacy development, problem-solving and critical thinking. Students are also provided full access to a wide variety of AP courses. LaGuardia Community College provides our students access to College Now classes. Our school requires students to wear their uniform on a daily basis.

Our school offers a focus on 21st century communication skills which included Microsoft Certification, coding, graphics, and database development. Additionally, our students also have access to a wide variety of literacy related classes which include, AP Literature, Speech, Journalism, and other associated classes.
