Herbert H. Lehman High School is committed to challenging, engaging and developing the minds of all of our students. College and career support begins in the 9th grade with PSAT/SAT preparation, college visits and scholarship opportunities. Students can challenge themselves by enrolling in honors courses, Advanced Placement (AP), SUNY and College Now courses. Additionally, we offer courses for those interested in STEM fields (i.e. engineering) and research experiences, computer science/coding/cybersecurity and traditional/digital arts. Lehman also offers extensive opportunities to participate in clubs, sports, community service, internships, regents preparation and after school tutoring.

The computer science program allows students to explore a computer programming (Python), engineering principles or digital arts platforms (Adobe/Minecraft). Students electing to pursue computer programming will have an opportunity to take courses in basic and advanced Python (computer language), as well as, engineering principles and introduction to robotics.
