About
Humanities Preparatory Academy is a small and nurturing school founded in 1996 that offers a personalized education to all students. We believe that students learn best through inquiry, discovery and collaboration. Our community is anchored in 7 core values, Respect for the Intellect, Commitment to Democracy, Respect for Humanity, Respect for Diversity, Commitment to Peace and Commitment to Justice. We are college preparatory and prepare students for the rigor of college work while they are still in high school. Students experience a full curriculum of mathematics, sciences, social studies, English, arts and foreign language. We welcome both incoming 9th graders and transfer students in grades 9-12.
