Art
Two Career and Technical Education (CTE ) arts programs are housed at Bayside High School: The Digital Art & Design Program and The Music & Audio Production Program. Students in both tracks receive core CTE courses blended with traditional arts instruction. Both programs award students up to nine college credits in their respective arts concentrations. Students do performance-based learning in the Art and Music tracks, which aligns with our mantra, "We learn by doing." Each track culminates in a capstone project and professional certification exam. We celebrate our art spaces, such as our state-of-the-art Digital Art Labs, Audio Production Lab, and Music Studio. We have expanded our afterschool program to include the annual school musical and provided audio production and art expressions through multiple media and art forms for school-wide events such as the Lunar New Year, International Festival, and Concerts on and off campus. We aim for all students to be college-and-career-ready and have various skills.
