Clara Barton High School for Health Professions has been preparing students for careers in the Health Industry since 1939. Nestled in the historic district of Crown Heights. Clara Barton High School offers students the opportunity to graduate with state certification in one of six entry level health careers in addition to their high school diploma. Students graduate college-ready and with a CTE endorsement for one of the following majors: LPN-Practical Nurse, Medical Assistant, Nurse Assistant, Dental Assistant, Dental Lab Technician and Vision Technician. Eligible students can complete the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program in their senior year. Students also have the opportunity to be a part of a rigorous honors program- Gateway Honors for Pre-College Education. CBHS also offers a Haitian-Creole Bilingual program and the ACES Program for students with special needs, as dictated by their IEP.
