Herbert H. Lehman High School is committed to challenging, engaging and developing the minds of all of our students. College and career support begins in the 9th grade with PSAT/SAT preparation, college visits and scholarship opportunities. Students can challenge themselves by enrolling in honors courses, Advanced Placement (AP), SUNY and College Now courses. Additionally, we offer courses for those interested in STEM fields (i.e. engineering) and research experiences, computer science/coding/cybersecurity and traditional/digital arts. Lehman also offers extensive opportunities to participate in clubs, sports, community service, internships, regents preparation and after school tutoring.

Engineering
The Biomedical Sciences Program is designed for students who wish to pursue medical/ health sciences. Students will follow a four year program and will have opportunities to study anatomy and physiology, bioethics, epidemiology, survey of human disease and end with our capstone course (AP Biology). Students in this program also have an opportunity to work with 3D printing.
