Opening in September, 2024, Bard High School Early College Brooklyn is a partnership between Bard College and New York City Public Schools. This innovative public high school will offer young people in Brooklyn a set of extraordinary opportunities, including: 1. Enabling students to graduate from high school with 60 transferable, Bard College credits and a Bard College AA degree, entirely free of cost to students and their families. 2. A core curriculum in the liberal arts. 3. Extensive guidance in postsecondary options and credit transfer. 4. Internships and applied learning opportunities. 5. Robust student support structures that attend to students' academic, social, and developmental needs.
