About

Gotham Collaborative High School empowers students with the resources and support needed to reach their highest potential. We offer comprehensive college and career exploration and preparation opportunities. Our extensive internship program connects upperclassmen with over 100 partnerships across NYC in diverse fields like medicine, fashion design, and culinary arts. As a FutureReadyNYC school, we provide specialized courses in healthcare and business management while preparing students for various careers with 21st-century employability skills, including financial literacy. Students gain paid work-based learning opportunities, early college credits, and credentials. Our College Pathway Program enables students to take college courses during high school, allowing them to graduate with 30+ college credits. Through the Career Readiness and Modern Youth Apprenticeship (CRMYA) program, we offer courses for ninth and tenth graders to explore career interests and develop readiness skills. Students can apply for apprenticeships in tech, education, finance, and business, earning while learning during high school. We are part of the Career Readiness and Modern Youth Apprenticeship (CRMYA) pilot, which helps us support career readiness for all our students. We have courses that help our ninth and tenth graders explore their career interests and develop readiness skills. Our students can apply for apprenticeships in tech, finance, and business, which allows them to earn and learn while in high school.

Art
At our school, we believe in the power of creativity and innovation. We understand that art is not just about painting or drawing; it's a way of thinking, a method of expression, and a gateway to endless possibilities. That's why we've designed a unique, robust art class that embraces multiple modalities, including the cutting-edge technology of 3D printing. 3D printing is a game-changer. It allows students to bring their ideas to life in a tangible, three-dimensional form. Whether they're creating intricate sculptures, functional objects, or experimental designs, our students are able to explore the limitless potential of this exciting technology. In our class, students learn how to use professional 3D modeling software, understand the mechanics of 3D printers, and gain hands-on experience in printing their own creations. It's a unique opportunity that fosters technical skills, promotes innovative thinking, and empowers students to push the boundaries of what's possible in art.
