About
Media is a strong community of learners where students graduate as empowered and responsible participants of society. Students develop 21st century skills through AP, film production, journalism and advisory courses. Our state-of-the-art television and recording studio is supported by our partnerships with Simon & Schuster, Film at Lincoln Center, MNN, and HITN. Students create multiple literary publications such as The Legacy Student Newspaper, Rise, Babel in the Heights and a Journal of fiction and non-fiction pieces. (Ask us for copies when you visit!) Our committed teachers see each student for who they are and are responsive to their needs. Ultimately, we develop lifelong learners who will prosper in college and future careers.
