Art
We provide a four-year program in art that explores fine art techniques along with art history and the application of these skills in various art-related industries. Our students study the business of the arts and learn both digital and darkroom photography techniques. Students create portfolios over their four-year experience and write artists' statements and related essays. We aim to provide as varied a program as possible in the many areas of the arts, including design, illustration, gallery and curatorial techniques. Our close connection with the business, industry and post-secondary education communities ensures that the standards, knowledge and expectations are continually updated and reassessed. This connection also allows students to have access to special enrichment, unique internship and on-the-job training opportunities.
